The society's Facebook Group is now livw and we are inviting memebers to join and contribute with their astronomical news, observations, experience and projects. Inspired by Dame Prof. Jocelyn Bell Burnell's recent presentation at Barrow In Furness Town Hall organised by IMechE, PESC and IET a new link to the SKA Observatory web site has been added to the societies Links. page. The SKAO web site is a mine full of information on the development of large scale array radio telescopes. Why not visit the site and take the opportunity to become involved in some Citizen Science helping to identifying super massive Black Holes or identifyin LIGO glitches in gravitational waves from your armchair. |
